Adult Volleyball Leagues Forming For Winter/Spring 2010
Adult coed volleyball leagues are now forming at the LaPorte Family YMCA. Teams may register during any open hours at the YMCA front desk.
The YMCA offers an advanced league on Wednesday nights and an intermediate league on Monday nights. The Monday night league does not allow spiking or overhand serves. The advanced league begins Wednesday, Jan. 13, and the intermediate league begins Monday, Jan. 11. Each league runs for 12 weeks followed by league tournaments. Leagues are limited to the first 12 teams, so teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
The entry fee is $180 per team. Non-member participants must pay an additional $10 fee. Team captains must attend a mandatory meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the YMCA.
