Well here it is the beginning of another exciting swim season. Congratulations to all who have signed up this year. Parents, as you know by now the La Porte High school pool is unavailable to Dogfish this season, but we are still looking forward to another outstanding year for all Dogfish swimmers.

Due to the major ongoing renovations at the La Porte High school pool this year, our team will be practicing at the Little Cedar Bayou Wave Pool and the Brookglen pool. Unlike the High school pool, these two pools are not heated, and with the unseasonably cooler weather, practice will initially consist of land-based drills and exercises. Once the weather and pool water warms up, swimmers will begin in-the-water practice. Additionally, these two pools are outdoors and in park areas, so it is important for all of us to keep an eye on the children at all times.  We need everyone’s help in making sure the children are where they need to be at all times.

For those of you that have not yet signed up, please take advantage of the additional registration opportunities that will begin on Monday, April 13th from 5:30PM until 7:30PM (Monday thru Thursday) at the Little Cedar Bayou Wave Pool location only, and will continue each evening until Thursday May 7th.
