2012 SEASON
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Walk up Registration will be held the following Dates and Times at the Greene Turtle in La Plata
Saturday, June 2nd 10am-2pm
The registration fee is $210. Your registration fee will also include 5 Homecoming Day Raffle Tickets, just like last season. You may keep these tickets or may sell them for $10 each.
FOOTBALL NEWS
Please register your child in accordance with the 2012 County weight chart. The new 2012 County weight chart can be found in the ALL FORMS tab. Falsification of weight will void the registration and NO refund will be issued.
NOTE: FOOTBALL PLAYERS - THERE IS A $60 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE (INCLUDED IN THE $210 REGISTRATION COST). THIS CHANGE IS DUE TO YOUR JERSEY BEING ORDERED PRIOR TO THE START OF PRACTICE. IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE YOU WILL STILL RECEIVE YOUR JERSEY ALONG WITH A REFUND FOR THE REMAINING REGISTRATION FEE.
CHEERLEADING NEWS
Age/grade Verification: Charles County Public Facilities has initiated a new age/grade verification policy for its Recreation Cheerleading Squads. Each parent must register his or her child at the correct age/grade listed for 2012/2013 school year. Parents must also submit his or her child's 2012 4th quarter report card at registration. Due to continued league growth and attendance at county and region-wide competitions adherence to the team age/grade guidelines is paramount. The county age/grade chart can be found in the ALL FORMS tab. Be sure to register your child at the appropriate age/grade level. Falsification of age or grade will void the registration and NO refund will be issued.
Cheerleading Team Selection: As stated above, you must register your child at the correct age/grade level. However, working within the 20% up/down maximum allowance, you may complete the "Special Squad Request" area on the on-line form. This area allows you to submit a special request for team placement for a specific reason. The Board will consider special requests once ALL registrations are finalized. Special squad placements are NOT guaranteed. The Board will consider each request individually, while working within the new County age/grade guidelines.
New Cheer Divisions - Clarification Parents - When registering your Cheerleader, please do so according to the Grade she will be in this coming Fall. The ages that you see under Divisions are the new Football Divisions/Teams. This year we will not have "Anklebiter", "75lb", or "105lb"; the Teams will be called 5 - 7 Division, 6 - 8 Division, etc... If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of the Cheer Committee.
**If you are new to LPBK, please be sure to by a COPY of your childs birth certificate and two proofs of address.**
