Welcome to the
Lowell Little League
2012 Baseball/Softball season.
Please read the following before you begin the registration
process.
Registrations for all age division are open on January 1st, 2012.
Registration for the 2012 season:
Please be
aware of the different registration deadline dates for the age divisions listed
below. Players added after the deadline date will be put on a waiting list with
late fees ($15.00) and will be added as space allows.
**There will be no
candy bar sales for a reduced registration cost.
**Opening day ceremonies
will be on Saturday, April 30th.
**Please visit the website for upcoming
information regarding the 2012 season.
The general rule for division
schedules are as follows:
EDL-Saturday mornings
(Time is typically 9:00am-10:30am)
7-8-Tuesday and
Thursday evenings
(Time is typically 6:30pm-8:00pm)
9-10 Boys-Monday, Wednesday and Friday
evenings**
(Weeknight games times begin at 6:00pm)
11-12 Boys-Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings**

Boundry Map:
All players must live within the 2012 Lowell Little League
boundaries (see attached map). GRANDFATHER CLAUSE: Due to new
boundaries, if your child played in Lowell Little League last year and now
lives outside the new boundaries, they may continue to play in 2012 and future
years. If your child did NOT play in Lowell Little League last year and now
lives outside the new boundaries, they will NOT be allowed to register for
Lowell Little League in 2012 and future years - NO EXCEPTIONS. To ensure that
you live within the LLL boundaries, please review the following map.
Financial
Aid:
It is offered based on a case by case situation. Send your
request via email to Lowelllittleleague@gmail.com. Working 15 volunteer hours
will be a mandatory requirement.
Late fee
registrations:
A $15 fee will be added to any age division
registration fee.
Refunds:
A refund is
available upon request prior to the close of registration for
the player’s division less a $10 processing fee.
Coaches Clinic:
All volunteer coaches for any age division within Lowell Little League must attend the Coaches Clinic on Sunday, March 18th at Roger High School Gym. The clinic will be held 1:00pm-5:00pm. No cost.
Returning
users:
When you log into your account to register, you will see
the programs age bracket has been adjusted according to the Little League
International age chart. Verify all information; address, phone numbers, contact
numbers, etc. Once basic information is current, you may proceed to the
registration tab and register your child.
Forgotten
password:
If you’ve forgotten your password simply type in your
email address only and it will email you a new password. If the email entered is
not associated with your account, it will allow you to start a new account by
entering your guardian’s info and the child’s info. (Note that if you have
several emails associated with your account, any one of them will pull up your
account.)
New users:
If you are new to
Lowell Little League, welcome. In order to register your child/ren, click on the
register now tab. You must create a new account. Once the account is set up,
then you can proceed to the registration tab to register your child.
Payment:
The registration system is setup to
accept Visa/MC immediately or you can pay with check by mail.
Submission of forms:
A current medical
release form, a copy of birth certificate and payment MUST be on file for your
child’s registration to be complete. Your child CAN NOT
participate in practices and/or games until all forms and payment are
turned in. Mail documents to Lowell Little League, PO Box 292, Lowell, MI
49331-0292, Lowell, Mi 49331.
Medical Release
Form:
A 2012 medical release form must be on file in order to
complete your child’s registration.
Birth
Certificate:
If your child played in Lowell Little League last
year, their birth certificate may be on file. You will be contacted if we do not
have it on file. For all new registrations, a copy of their birth certificate
must be on file to complete their registration.
League Age:
Division placement is based on your
player’s league age which is determined by Little League International’s
guidelines. See the Baseball and Softball League Age charts below to determine
the applicable division (or divisions) available for your child. Please note
that several ages have two divisions available to them so please verify which
division you want prior to starting the registration process.

We are always looking for volunteers
to assist in running the program effectively and efficantly. Volunteer

Player Play up rules:
No children aged 3 and under can not play in Lowell Little League.
Little
League International’s insurance only covers children aged 4 and older.
In order for your 6 year old child to play up in the 7-8 machine pitch league;
the parent must submit the request to lowelllittleleague@gmail.com.
the child must have at least one year of tee-ball or little league experience.
In order for your 8 year old child to play up in the 9-10 minor league;
the parent must submit the request to lowelllittleleague@gmail.com
& the child must be at minor league try-outs in March.
In order for your 10 year old child to play up in the 11-12 major league;
the parent must submit the request to lowelllittleleague@gmail.com
& the child must attend the 11-12 major try outs.
In order for
your 12 year old child to play up in the 13-14 junior league;
the parent must submit the request to lowelllittleleague@gmail.com
& the child must attend the 13-14 junior try outs.
In order for your 14 year old child to play up
in the 15-16 senior league;
the parent must submit the request to lowelllittleleague@gmail.com
& the child must attend the 15-16
senior try outs.
All player play up requests must be submitted through
