Lowell Sunday Night Co-ed Softball League Website
Hello and welcome to Lowell Sunday Night Co-ed Softball League Website. A league that is fair, fun and balanced. This site should be very helpful and should help keep our league more organized. 2-18-10 - First meeting of the season was held last night at new league sponsor Cappy's Copper Kettle. Here are the main items covered during this meeting:
1. Introduction of new/returning team Filthy Animals (sponsored by Captain John's and Suppa's). Announcement of new sponsors Cappy's (Warriors) and Applebees (Friends/Crackers/Hogan Tire/Nashua Power).
2. League fee increased $50 to $950.
3. League will not carry insurance this year which allowed just $50 increase.
4. Vote on 2 divisions - passed, teams will be placed in 2 divisions with top 4 teams in each making the playoffs.
5. Vote on 12' arc - passed, even though ASA is going to 10' arc we will stay with 12' and add into our bylaws.
6. Schedule - teams were picked and schedule was filled out (file is attached).
Next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 3/14 at 7:00 at Captain John's. At least one half ($475) of the league fee is due at that meeting. A reminder as always that the vast majority of league expenses are paid out before the season starts so please do bring the fee. This meeting will also be to cover all the bylaws and make any changes. On another note, PI Painting has decided they will not be coming back to the league this year. We thank them for their years of competitive ball.
