Big Chad goes deep against Molly Kays
Ground Round first baseman Chad Matyja hits his league leading sixth homerun on May 23. The Chelmsford Ground Round went on to win both games against Molly Kays in the double header. Chad later left the game and went to the hospital after injuring his knee on a base running play at second base.

Brewers slugger Jim Russel lines a ball off the top of the fence on May 23. The Brewers went on to lose 11-19 to the Hit Men. Russell played with a torn hamstring.
