Welcome to Loveland Youth Football!
Celebrating 50 years of excellence!
LYF was established in 1959 and the organization has grown each year, with another 520 children participating in 2009 (15 football teams and 15 cheer squads). LYF offers football and cheer squads for grades 1 through 6. We provide our players with some of the safest equipment available. All of our one hundred plus coaches are certified by the NYSCA and have passed a mandatory background check. Our 2008 teams continued to build upon our past success, with several playoff football teams and numerous competition awards for our cheer squads. We are looking forward to 2009 being another awesome season.
LYF Board meetings are held on the 4th Sunday of each month at Loveland City Hall and are open to all participants. Minutes from the previous month's board meetings will be available at each meeting.

1st Annual Loveland Youth Cheerleading Showcase Night
When: August 27th / 6PM – 8PM
LYF Football Field
Enjoy an evening of Cheering, music, games, fun and surprises! Admission is free to all, but please come hungry for a snack from our concession stand, and ready to buy some Cheer Spirit Wear to help support the LYF!!
Watch each Cheer Squad perform 2 cheers. We’ll have the world’s largest Sally Walker game (all are welcome to participate). Come and watch the LYF Cheerleaders show-off what they’ve got! Music and MC by Tim Anderson.

Registration Fee: $10.00 per cheerleader.

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 16th, 2009
Open to non-competitive cheer squads ages, 6/7, 8, 9, 10 & 11/12.
Squads with different age cheerleaders should add up the ages of the cheerleaders and divide by the
number of cheerleaders on the squad to determine the age group you squad will compete.
Squad Check-In:
10:00 for all age groups. Competition starts promptly at 11:00.
Music Check:
Bring your music CD, set and ready to play. All music will be turned in at check-in, so if you must
practice please have additional copies.
Performance Requirements:
1. Requirement of cheer and dance segment.
2. No Mounting or stunting.
3. Tumbling allowed, a 42 X 42 mat will be provided, this mat is not moveable.
4. No coaching during performance.
5. No Jewelry.
6. Flags, megaphones, signs and poms are allowed to be placed on floor prior to performance.
7. Total routine must not exceed 5 minutes.
Awards:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place individual trophies will be awarded to each placing participant.
All non-placing cheerleaders will receive a participation award.
Admission:
Adults $5.00, Students $3.00, Children 5 and under free. Cheerleaders free entry.
Other:
Spirit wear, snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Camcorders are allowed.
