Thursday, July 9
The schedule for Jackson, TN this weekend has been released. We will open pool play Friday, July 10 at 8:00 PM versus Team Lightning from Paducah. Uniform will be white pants, white mesh vest, black hat, black t-shirt, black belt, black socks. We will then play Saturday, July 11 at 11:00 AM versus Jackson Redbirds and wrap up pool play at 3:00 PM versus Halls Storm (from West Tennessee). Uniform for Saturday, both games, will be white pants, white mesh vest, white hat, orange t-shirt, orange belt, orange socks. All our pool games will be played in Complex C Fields 11 and 12. Please note that all game times are Central Time (one hour behind us) so plan travel accordingly. Only the 4 pool winners will play in the championship bracket and the next 4 teams (not necessarily pool runner ups) will play in a consolation bracket. This weekend, temperatures in Jackson are supposed to be in the mid to high 90's so please ensure players have plenty of water, gatorade/powerade and I would suggest they bring a hand towel, bandanna or rag and we will provide a cold water cooler of some sort. The Owls will wrap up their season playing in the USSSA AA World Series being held in Columbus, IN July 15-19. Click on the link for general information regarding check in and opening ceremonies. Information will be added as it becomes available.
