2009 LOUISVILLE CRUSH 13-YEAR-OLD BASEBALL TEAM
The Louisville Crush is a competitive, 13-and-under baseball team made up of players living in Louisville, Broomfield, Superior, Lafayette and Boulder, Colorado. Several of our team members have been playing together since they were seven years old.
The team is a member of the Louisville Youth Baseball Association (LYBA), and will play league games sanctioned by the Jefferson County Junior Baseball League (JCJBL). This year, the team will compete in the 13-year-old Majors division (Division "0"), which is the top level of competition for our age group in the State of Colorado. Information on the JCJBL can be found at www.jcjbl.org. This web site includes rules, schedules, standings, maps, as well as links to other baseball sites.
Our season will consist of approximately 20 league games, plus eight tournaments throughout the state, including the prestigious Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, July 21-26, 2009, where we will have the opportunity play teams from all around the country. In all, the Crush will play approximately 60 games between April and July.
Our goal is for players to learn the finer points of the great game of baseball, improve their skills, and have fun. Our players, their coaches, and their parents and fans are committed to being gracious when winning and dignified when losing. They will demonstrate good sportsmanship, and be respectful at all times.
