Louisiana Scout League (LSL)
The Louisiana Scout League (LSL) is a Developmental Fall Program designed to give players an opportunity to showcase their ablilities in front of college coaches and professional scouts. The LSL is dedicated to improve players through highly competitive game situations in a more structured environment. It is the goal of the LSL to make each participant better, which would benefit each player during their high school spring season!
The LSLTeams will be selected by high school coaches, college coaches, and professional scouts' recommendations to participate in this Sunday League. This is a wood bat league that will be scouted by college coaches and professional scouts from the area. RHP Connor Thurman (Belle Chasse) became the 2nd LSL player to commit when he accepted an offer to continue his baseball career at Nicholls State Unicersity! Congratulations to Connor and his family!
Monday, November 16
OF/1B/LHP Britt Gautreaux (Dutchtown) has become the first LSL player to sign! He has signed to continue his baseball career at LSU-Eunice Community College! Congratulations to Britt and his family!
The LSL would like to thank all the coaches at UNO, Nicholls St., McNeese, ULL, ULM, SLU, Southern University, and BRCC for all their hard work on their fields in the rainiest fall we have ever experienced! Although we were unable to play at a couple of fields due to the weather, their hard work trying to get their fields ready did not go unnoticed! This has been very difficult for scheduling, but we have all done the best we can! We would also like to thank the players and coaches for their dedication this fall as well. A final evaluation of players will be forth coming and sent to various college coaches.
