Loudoun Xtreme Basketball Club is an AAU 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering amateur youth basketball programs through a volunteer base for all youth, and to promoting good sportsmanship and good citizenship.
Mission Statement: To develop each athlete to his/her ‘extreme’ potential by providing a positive, supportive, and fun team-based environment with the goal to help youth develop life skills both on and off the court.
Vision Statement: To provide amateur sports competition in accordance with the rules and standards set forth by the Amateur Athletic Union. The organization will build teams that consistently excel on a national and regional level and our coaches will strive for the development of the individual including sportsmanship, team play, academic development, community involvement and leadership.

Dexter Turner, Founder
and President, Head Coach - Xtreme Pride

Dexter Turner is a native of
Loudoun County, where he started playing basketball through Parks and
Recreations Central Loudoun Basketball League at the age of 12. He is also a graduate of Loudoun County High
School, class of 1995, where he played basketball for all 4 years. Coach Turner also took his love of the game
to a more advanced level, by earning a spot on the Leesburg Basketball Club AAU
travel team, where he continued to play for 3 years (1992-1995). Playing at a
highly intensive and competitive level, he experienced playing against power
house teams and players such as Alan Iverson, Joe Smith and Tony Rutland, just
to name a few.
Since then, Coach Turner has
become involved in the Leesburg community volunteering as a coach for youth
organizations such as the Loudoun County Youth Soccer Association, Central
Loudoun Little League, Central Loudoun Youth Football League and Central
Loudoun Basketball League, where he got to be known as “Coach Dex”. As he became more involved in the Amateur
Athletic Union, Coach Turner served as an assistant coach for 2 years, and head
coach for 1 year, before founding Loudoun Xtreme Basketball Club to the Loudoun
County AAU basketball circuit in the fall of 2010.
Currently, Coach Turner serves as
the President of Loudoun Xtreme Basketball Club and head coach for the 13th
ranked, Loudoun Xtreme Pride. Leading his new team, Xtreme Pride achieve
rapid success, earning 3 Championships and a 2nd place finish in 4
tournaments played in 2011. Coach Turner was also named “Coach of the Year” for
the 2011 Virginia Elite Hoops fall league after a 7-1 season record and
capturing the 2011 Virginia Elite Hoops 1st fall league
championship. Coach Turner coaches and will continue to coach with a passion
and intense love for the game of basketball, striving to make an impact on his
players lives and instilling in them that through hard work, discipline and
teamwork, they can be as great as they want to be.

Mike Lohneis, Founder and Treasurer, Head Coach - Xtreme Force

Mike Lohneis’ passion for basketball started in a small town in
Illinois when he made the 6th grade school team. After playing one
season in Illinois, his family moved to Montgomery County, MD, where he
continued playing on his middle school and high school teams in Rockville, MD.
After graduating high school he was asked by the Varsity Head Coach to coach
the JV High School Summer League team, which he did for two years.
In 2005, Mike began
coaching again when his oldest son started playing in Central Loudoun
Basketball League (CLBL) and he has not stopped since then. He has enjoyed much
success coaching in two different age groups in CLBL having won multiple season
and tournament championships. Mike was selected by CLBL to coach the 7th
and 8th grade All-Star team in the local HUSSA Tournament in 2010
and 2011, winning second place in 2010 and first place in 2011.
Mike was also an
Assistant Coach for the Simpson Middle School Travel team in 2008 which won the
regular season championship. For the past 2 years, he has been selected as the
Head coach for the Simpson Middle School Travel team having tied for the
regular season championship in the 2010 – 2011 season. Mike was asked by
another AAU travel organization to start two different AAU age groups (the
first in 2007 and the second in 2009) where he served as Head Coach on both
teams. Mike has also coached with the Loudoun Lightning Organization, which in
the summer of 2011 provided over 40 rising freshman players, mostly in the
Leesburg area, a chance to continue to develop their basketball skills before
trying out for their respective high school teams.
Currently, Mike is the Treasurer for Loudoun Xtreme Basketball
Club (LXBC) and Head Coach of the Loudoun Xteme Force team. Since their
inaugural season in 2011, they have won one tournament championship, a 2nd
place finish in another tournament and first place in the Fairfax Stars Summer
League. Mike continues to pass on his love for the game of basketball to the
youth of Loudoun County through teamwork, fundamentals, dedication and hard
work. His belief is to build character, integrity and respect amongst his
players while on and off the court, emphasizing that the most important aspect
of playing any team sport is to HAVE FUN!!!

Rob Green, Head Coach - Lady Xtreme Black

Rob Green played high school basketball at Alfred Almond
Central in Western NY. He continued playing in college at Alfred University
where he was part of a team that made the Division 3 Final 4 three straight
years.
This will be the 4th season Rob has coached this group of girls. During that
time, the team has won state championships in 2009 and 2010 and were runners-up
last year at the D2 level. In 2010 they finished 13th at AAU nationals and
finished 8th last year at USBA Nationals.
Rob has also coached for 5 years in the Central Loudoun Basketball League. His
girls teams won championships in 4th (2007) and 6th (2009) grade. In 2010, Rob
coached the Simpson Middle School Girls 7th grade team to an undefeated season
and the travel league championship.
We are very excited to be Loudoun Xtreme's first girls team. Our style of play
is up-tempo with emphasis on pressure defense. We look forward to qualifying
for AAU nationals again this season and playing this summer in Orlando.

Gordon Neal Jr., Head Coach - Xtreme Semper Fi

Coach Gordon Neal Jr., is a resident of Loudoun County and is employed by Loudoun County Public Schools working in the Exceptional Education department at Tuscarora High School located in LeesburgVa. Having played basketball for Muskingum College, Coach Neal wanted to share his knowledge of the game begin his coaching career. From 1999-2000 Coach Neal was the Varsity Assistant Coach at Aberdeen High School located in Maryland. From 2003-2005 he was the Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at C. Milton Wright High School located in Bel Air Maryland. Lastly from 2010-2012 Coach Neal became the Varsity Assistant Coach for the newly opened Tuscarora High School in Leesburg Va. Coach Gordon Neal Jr. joined the Loudoun Xtreme Basketball Club Organization Coaching Staff in February of 2013 as the head coach for one of two 16U / 10th grade teams. Coach Neal believes that all of his teams will be in the best of physical condition and if they practice hard, then they will play hard as well. He also stated that he enjoys playing a fast paced style that focuses on constant ball movement and very intense defensive play.

Mic Green, Coach - Xtreme Force

Mic Green was born and raised in a small town in Texas called Pilot Point. She started playing basketball in the 6th grade and played through her 9th grade year in Texas. Mic’s sophomore year she moved to Leesburg Virginia where she attended Loudoun County High School and played basketball on the varsity level her sophomore through senior years. After graduating high school, Mic continued her basketball career at Clinch Valley College, which is located in the Southwestern part of VA and is currently known as UVA of Wise.
In 1996 Mic started coaching for the 6th and 7th grade girls travel basketball league in Loudoun County where she continued to do so for the 1997 season also. Once her oldest son started 2nd grade she began coaching for the Western Loudoun Basketball League. She continued to coach in the WLBL until 2006 when she also became the Blue Ridge Middle School travel basketball coach for 7th and 8th grade boys.
In 2007 Mic also started coaching with CBC – Catoctin Basketball Club travel team in Purcellville, VA. Mic coached with CBC until 2011. She had several successful tournaments and leagues in the seasons she has coached with both organizations.
In 2011 Mic joined the Loudoun Xtreme Basketball Club organization, becoming the Assistant Coach to Mike Lohneis and the Loudoun Xtreme Force team. She is very excited about having another successful year with the team and to help teach young men the love and game of basketball!!!
