Varsity - about 20 gals took a scenic tour of the campus, missing a turn on a poorly marked part of the course. As Coach Townsend said, "Oh well. Live to race another day." Erin, Kelly and Rachel were all together in the top five when it happened, with Sara a few spots back. The miscue paid off for Chelsea, as the athletes had figured out the right way for her group and it moved her to a top 10. The girls did a great job of maintaining their composure and making it a hard effort. Sure looked good seeing them sweep through the field over the last kilometer.

The Varsity Wildcats got out hard and only moved forward to take the two top spots - Individual and Team.
All the girls popped a good one, and Jill set the 15th best performance ever on the course & best ever LG girl's time with her 18:31. Kaela and Erin ran solidly in the nineteens. All the girls, Kelly, Jessica, Sam, and Kristy, ran faster than their Early Bird race (see results for race deltas). The Team time of 98:26 is an LG record and the 7th fastest all-time at Toro.
Coach held out Paige (who ran 19:48 - 6th best LG ever - at Early Bird) & Callie was sick.
