Fall Ball 2015

Fall Ball is a developmental league providing

players an opportunity to sharpen their skills

in preparation for the spring season. Coaches are parent volunteers. Games are competitive, but the focus is on learning and development

and not on winning. Standings will not be

maintained. Players will be encouraged to

enjoy the game while taking their skills to the next level.

The season runs August 23 - November 1.

Teams practice one day per week (same

day/time each week) and play one game on

Sundays.  Specific practice day and time

are TBD by your team's coach and cannot

be requested in advance.  Sunday game

times vary from 9am to 4pm. Most practices and all games will be at Purissima Baseball Park in Los Altos Hills.

Fall Ball is open to players ages 7-11 as of

April 30, 2015 who have played at least one

year in Los Altos Little League Minors AA.

Players from outside our League

boundaries are welcome - please see

to align your player's previous playing

experience with our spring division structure.

Standard Little League Green Book rules will be used. Games will be 6 innings with a 2

hour time limit. Two innings maximum per

pitcher.  Continuous batting will be in effect. Six runs maximum per team per inning.

Umpiring duties are the responsibility of the

defensive team coach.

Two divisions are planned, but final division

structure may be adjusted by the Fall Ball

Commissioner based on enrollment.

Majors:  For players who played Majors in

spring 2015, or top AAA players planning to

play Majors in spring 2016.

AAA:  For players who played AAA in spring

2015 but are not quite ready for Majors, or AA players planning to play AAA in spring

Space is limited. Registration closes August 1 or when teams fill up, whichever comes

first.  Teams will be formed after registration

closes. We allow pre-formed teams - during

registration you can request a division,

coach, and/or group of buddies. However,

final division and team assignment is at the

discretion of the Fall Ball Commissioner.

Teams will have a maximum of 13 players.

Cost is $190 per player and includes a shirt, belt, hat, and socks.
