Long Island Beach Bums: Welcome

Wanna be a bum?....

Would you like to be a member of a Girl's travel lacrosse team on Long Island that is all about lacrosse and not just about making money?

The Long Island Beach Bums have fielded teams for the past 6 seasons. We have competed at such high level tournaments as Lax by the Sea, NE Allstars, Lax for the Cure, National Draw, Best of the Beach, The Diane Whipple event and LI Elite Showcase. We also sponsor and run the Babylon LAX Blast.

The program was started by and has been run by Tim Harrison and Greg Antolini since its inception in October 2005. Tim Harrison is the Babylon Girls Varsity Head Coach and was named  League II Coach of the year in 2012.

The Beach Bums are looking for dedicated and competitive players who would like to improve their technical skill as well as make lifelong friendships. We dont think the younger girls need to spend 4 weekends of your summer traveling to away tournaments so we try to keep travel for younger teams to a minimum.
