Land O Lakes Little League: Little League Divisions
ALL LITTLE LEAGUE PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON A PLAYERS LEAGUE AGE. LEAGUE AGE IS DEFINED AS THE PLAYERS AGE ON APRIL 30, 2011 FOR BASEBALL PLAYERS AND DECEMBER 31, 2010 FOR SOFTBALL PLAYERS.
Land O Lakes Little League offers divisions within each of the following categories:
T-BALL
Midget co-ed minor league program for 4-year-old players.
Baseball - co-ed minor league program for all 5-year-old players.
BASEBALL
Minor D - minor league program for 6 year-old players. Operates as an instructional league with games being a combination of COACH PITCH and T-Ball.
Minor C - minor league program for 7 year-old baseball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being MACHINE PITCH only.
Minor B - minor league program for 8 year-old baseball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being CHILD PITCH.
Minor A - league program for 9-year-old baseball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being CHILD PITCH.
AA - league program for 10 year old baseball players. Operates as an introduction to the majors division and uses Major Division competitive rules.
Majors - competitive program for 11 and 12-year-old baseball players.
Juniors - competitive program for 13 through 14 year-old baseball players.
Seniors - competitive program for 15 through 16 year-old baseball players.
SOFTBALL
Minor C - minor league program for 5 and 6 year-old softball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being a combination of TBALL and COACH PITCH.
Minor B - minor league program for 7 and 8 year-old softball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being a combination of COACH PITCH and CHILD PITCH.
Minor A league program for 9 and 10-year-old softball players. Operates as an instructional league with games being CHILD PITCH.
Majors - competitive program for all 11 and 12 year-old softball players.
Juniors - competitive program for 13 through 14 year-old softball players.
Seniors - competitive program for 15 through 16 year-old softball players.
