Your child's league age is determined by how old they are as of April 30, 2010 and registration approval is based on the District 41 Lakeside boundaries.
NEW FOR 2010! LNLL will now be accepting 4-year olds for our tee-ball division this season. Players must have turned 4 before Devember 31, 2009.

Manager and coaching positions are available. Please be sure to sign up at Registration if you are interested in a team. (subject to Board approval)
All Registration and Tryouts will be conducted at Lakeside National Little League Baseball Park.

Although the County of San Diego initially provided the funding to construct our state-of-the-art facility, the burden to raise funds to maintain and prepare for the future of our fields lies solely in our hands. As you may know, this has created the need to rent our facilities to other youth ball clubs and fundraiser events. While this is very financially lucrative for our little league, it is increasingly time-consuming for our volunteer board. As such, the current board is looking to add 1 to 4 new board member positions to assist in lessening this burden for all.
In addition to regular Little League season duties, all current and prospective board members are expected to assist in year-round field maintenance, fundraiser event preparation and clean-up, snack bar duties and volunteer facilitation. Interested parties must e-mail LNLL Secretary, Shelly Castanos at shellycastanos@yahoo.com before 5pm on December 27, 2009. A ballot will be compiled with a list of all potential candidates for the current board to vote on at the following meeting.

All players league age 8 and above MUST attend at least one try-out. If player can’t make appointed time please contact the player agent, Kathy Smith (smithsj2@cox.net or 619-204-1382). Best way to contact Kathy is via email.
Players – Try-outs are scheduled by age, come anytime during the appropriate block up to ½ hour before the end

Age 11 – 12 9:00 – 12:00 Age 7 – 8 1:00 – 4:00
Age 9 – 10 1:00 – 4:00 *Optional for league age 7
Saturday, January 23rd Saturday, January 30th
Age 11 – 12 9:00 – 11:00 Rain day make up, TBA if needed
Age 9 – 10 12:00 – 2:00
Make-up for all ages 2:00 – 4:00 (please be there by 2:00)
*League age 7 is normally placed in the non-competitive rookie division but can try-out for the competitive caps division. Attending try-outs does not guarantee placement on a Caps team
Player MUST be registered before attending try-outs (there will be no registration taken on try-out days).
January 5th 5:30 – 8:00 at the fields. Registration fee $100/siblings $50. Scholarships are available. Remember to bring the original birth certificate and 3 proof of residency. We accept registrations for 4 year olds up to 13 (Junior League).
