The commitment at the 8U level is fairly light and is compatible with other sports and activities. | Go La Mesa! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy. Have a terrific season! This camp will cover the full spectrum of the baseball experience, from individual skills, to team play, and baseball specific conditioning in a competitive yet safe and fun environment! Enjoy the biggest shopping day of the year while your athlete spends a day honing their baseball skills! Head Coach Ryan Thompson of Scripps Ranch High School, and the *professional teaching staff of Golden State STaRS will provide traditional, as well as cutting edge teaching, coaching, and training techniques.
