Starkey Park for Cave Spring American and Cave Spring National
From Interstate 81 North or South of Roanoke: Take I-81 to the exit for Roanoke marked I-581, downtown Roanoke. Follow 581 through downtown Roanoke, this road becomes Rt. 220 South. Take the Rt. 419 exit toward Salem. Turn right off this exit, you will pass Tanglewood Shopping Mall on your right. From Rt. 419 turn left onto Starkey Road, Blockbuster Video will be on your right. Follow Starkey Road to the end and turn right onto Starkey Road again (Buck Mountain Road goes to the left). Cross the railroad tracks and go to the stop sign. For Cave Spring American go straight across Merriman Road into the park. For Cave Spring National turn right onto Merriman Road. Then turn left onto Crystal Creek Drive. Park will be down the road on the left.
Altamont Field in Covington
Take 81N to Fincastle exit (220N).
Take 220N to 64W at Clifton Forge
Go west to exit 16B - go to light off exit
Turn left (look for Burger King)
Go up hill passed Moore’s - look for Cucci’s restaurant on right - turn right at light after the restaurant
Go to yield sign - bear right
Go ¼ mile - look for Masonic Lodge on right
Turn left 50 – 100 feet passed lodge (gravel road)
You will see the field.
Sharon Field - Clifton Forge
Take 81N to Fincastle exit (220N)
Take 220N to Clifton Forge
In CF, take ramp to the right toward US60/US220 to Covington
Take I-64 EAST towards Lexington (approx. 2 miles)
Take next exit, Exit 29 and turn Right at bottom of ramp to 269/60 East
Go 0.1 miles and turn Left at Stop sign.
Go 1.75 miles on 269 East
Turn Right into Sharon Elementary School.
Go past school to the right, you will see the field up on the hill to your right behind school.
Linden Field in Clifton Forge
Take 81N to Fincastle exit (220N)
Take 220N to Clifton Forge (220 Business)
Go across bridge and turn left at light (look for church)
Go about 3 blocks, look for bank on right
Turn right at light
Go to top of hill, field will be on your right.
Pembroke
Take I-81 South
Take 460W until you enter Pembroke
Look for the old renovated school bldg on your left
After you pass the building, you need to take a quick left by the car lot
Follow signs to Castle Park
Memorial Park, Clifton Forge
Come into Clifton Forge from 220 North. Proceed west on Main St. until you get to the corner of Main and Commercial Ave. Turn right and proceed north until you reach Lowell St., 4 blocks. Turn right. You should see the Clifton Forge Armory, and the old Clifton Forge High School, You Are There.
Bath County
From Interstate 81
Exit 150B (truck stop) - 220 N to 64E
1st exit off 64 (Exit 29) which is 42N (Millboro Springs).
Turn left at stop sign on Rt. 42
Follow to Millboro Springs (approx. 14 miles). Gas station/country store on right
Turn right onto Rt. 42/Rt 39
Go 2 miles to the top of hill
Turn right onto TC Walker Rd (also known as 635) toward Millboro Elem School
Go 1 ½ miles to stop sign
Turn right onto CrookedSpur and make immediate left on High Street in front of BARC Electric
Turn right just as you pass Old Millboro School
Bear to left and follow road to Tom Miles Little League Field on right.
McCoy Field in Blacksburg
81 S. to exit 118C towards Blacksburg. Continue of 460 by pass (not business) to Prices Fork Exit (not downtown Blacksburg). Proceed west on Prices Fork Road 3.4 miles and turn right on to McCoy Road. Just before the right on to McCoy you will see Prices Fork Elementary on your left and at the turn you will see Snuffy's General Store. Proceed 4.1 miles and on your right look for Firehouse. Field is behind Firehouse. There is a restroom, they will have a snack bar, picnic area, playground and covered bleachers.
Laurel Park in Buena Vista
From I81 take Route 60 east into Buena Vista. Then take 501 South in front of Hardees. Go through the light. Take a left on 21st Street. Go straight, you will run into the park.
