"WIN WIN OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL LEAGUES"

First off, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the DA's, ADA's and League Presidents who have been so gracious and devoted with their time and effort during the Little League World Series the past 4 years. I can truly say we have made a difference participating in the "Focus Groups" for some of our National Sponsors who wanted to know to give back to the local leagues in your respective districts. I look forward to working with you once again at the 2007 LLWS.

Having said that, as most of you know I span the globe looking for deals that give back to our leagues, districts, and state. This time I think I hit a "Home Run." The individual who got me started with the focus groups 4 years ago in Bristol, CT. at a DA's Clinic was Marc Zwerdling, who at the time was working for the Active Group. Marc has moved on and is now working for Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment. They represent a National Organization called FlexMediaFence, whose goal is to install 1,000 fences at local leagues around the country, at no cost to the local league. [That’s the "WIN WIN" part] No, there are no catches, no contracts, and no gimmicks. Your league will receive the FlexMediaFence at their field at absolutely NO COST, the entire project will be financed by National Advertisers, who will have their advertisement on the fence, no, you don't have to do the solicitation, they do it for you, here's the other "WIN WIN PART," leagues gets 50% of the revenues generated to use as they please, i.e, equipment, maintenance, utility bills etc. You can call it, One Stop Shopping" they do it all, install the fence, secure advertising and all the leg work, and there is NO investment on their part.  If a leagues' field is located and maintained on a Park and Rec Department property, NO problem, it can still happen.  I could not refuse, so I have already signed up one of my leagues to have the fence installed.

If you have any leagues and want to be one of the first 1,000 recipients, give Marc a call, or if you have any other questions you can call or email me right here on the site. Marc can be reached at 212-699-8623, or you can email him at
MZwerdling@vanwagner.com.  For further information you can also go to the website and check out the fence, www.flexmediapartnership.com.

For further information and additional details please log on to DA News on this site.

Good Luck and I look forward to working with you again.

I'M BACK !!!

Now that the summer is officially over, it's time to get busy working on this site which, as you know is very important to me. The reason for my absence is my district hosted the LLBB States, what an event, we really had a great time. Additionally, I was elected NJ State Coordinator. It has been a busy summer. My main focus now is the 2007 International Congress in Houston. It was reall terrific to see some of the die-hards have kept the site going, namely Jeff, Mary Ellen, Lou and Doug,  Thx guys for taking up the slack in my absence. You guys have really been posting some awesome stuff, LLBB Hqs should assign someone to monitor our DA site so they can really know what we think, since most of the time they wont listen to us. We need to circle the wagons and get our topics together for congress and post and discuss them in advance. Let me know what's your pleasure,,, Stay tuned,
