Bill Schneider was drafted over the 2002-2003 winter and immediately solidified the catching position. Opposing baserunners can no longer run at will on the Sox, as Bill has thrown out almost 50% of would be base-stealers. After a rough offensive start at the plate, Bill hit a walk-off "grand-slam" single to win a game for the Sox early in 2003 and has been tearing it up ever since. Bulldog is another one of those no-quit, no-fear players that fits right into the Sox mold. If we could just put a leash on him as he rounds each base...
