Dave Glotzer was quietly picked up as a free-agent over the 2002-2003 winter. The Sox had heard little about Glotzer, but they soon found out they had made a great decision. A baseball guy through and through, Dave has stepped up and become the unofficial/official coach/mouthpiece for the Sox. Dave has played a very steady left side of the infield, filling in when necessary and has come alive at the plate of late. In on every play, getting guys to focus on the task at hand, Dave is all over everything.
