Fiery 2nd baseman and 1st half of the Sox 1-2 punch at the top of the order, Dan Decicco was drafted in the winter of 2002-2003 and what a huge pick-up he turned out to be for the Sox. From his first at-bat, Dan's speed was set at maximum and he hasn't slowed down since. Dan plays 200% all out, every inning, every game. A prototypical lead-off hitter, he leads the Sox in SBs, Walks, OBP and dirty uniforms. Rock-solid defense, he's also the other half of Westbury's double-play combo. As Danny goes, so go the Sox...and Dan has been going...and going...and going!
