Welcome to the Little Lions Wrestling website provided by LLWBC in support of our State College student athletes.
The junior high/high school wrestling program places a strong emphasis in building character and providing lifelong lessons that will ultimately help our wrestlers become role model citizens of our society. Grades, positive attitude, respect and work ethic are some core values our coaches instill into our wrestlers. We must not forget the first word in "student athlete" and teach our wrestlers the importance of working hard in school. Wrestling comes second in our program which will ensure our students are smart athletes instead of the stereo type many have placed on our wrestlers.
The teams are in good hands with high school head coach Chad Dubin and junior high head coach Steve Kurzinger. Both coaches have years of experience in the sport of wrestling. The coaches have a hunger for sharing their knowledge to our wrestlers. The sport of wrestling has a long history and has evolved over time which is why our State College coaches continue to be students of the sport themselves.
We must thank the assistant coaches and the volunteers that help make the program a success. We have over 75 wrestlers in the school district wrestling for 2012-2013 and without them we would not be where we are today.
Thank you for visiting the central location for all the information you need for the State College Little Lions.
GO LIONS!!!
