Imagine a Little League experience for the children with confusing try-outs, few coaches, no uniforms, unsafe fields, umpires who show up late – this is what it would be like with no volunteers. Training and support are available . To keep our program of 200+ children running, your help is necessary. The jobs can be fun if you make them, you'll get to meet families in the community, and you'll set a good example for our children by showing the importance of community service and volunteering. Given that most children in our league will be at the fields for an average of 100 hours, it should not be difficult to understand the amount of work necessary. Board Members, Managers and Coaches often volunteer over 150+ hours of their time per season . The average volunteer job is a small fraction of that commitment. The reward for all volunteers is not only helping to build a better community based program, but watching the children enjoy the experience of participating in a first rate program.
