Lincroft Soccer Club - Board Members needed
Dear Parents of Children in the Lincroft Soccer Club, The Lincroft Soccer Club operates completely through the efforts of the many volunteers who give their time to provide your children with a great youth soccer experience. Most of our volunteers are coaches or team leaders who spend time directly with your children. In addition, we have a Board of Directors that works behind the scenes to enable the program to operate. The Board of Directors has a number of openings that must be filled to help the program to continue to run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to get involved and make a difference in a program that serves hundreds of children in our community. Board members spend a few hours per month from February through November supporting the program. Currently, the Board has positions open for Division Coordinators for several divisions. Division Coordinators organize the players in divisions onto teams (create the rosters), serve as a point of contact for coaches in the division, check on some number of games being played in the division to see if there are any issues and collect player evaluations at the end of season. Some knowledge of the game is desirable, but playing or coaching experience is not required. For parents who may not be able to coach due to time constraints during the week, a board position is a great way to actively participate in the league at times that are more convenient for you. What IS needed is an interest in helping the children of the community and some basic administrative skills. The Board meets one Sunday night per month at 8:00 PM for about one hour. If you have an interest in becoming a board member or have questions about the board responsibilities, please send a message to us at (info@lincroftsoccer.org) (include your name and contact information) and we will contact you directly.
