Baseball, Softball and Field Hockey Summer Camps

 

The Lincroft Little League is hosting week long, full day, baseball, softball and field hockey camps for our fifth summer. Eric McMahon is our Camp Director and his staff from the Batter’s Box Sports Academy, which includes former college and minor league players, will be helping with the instruction.  All instructors have professional camp experience from working college camps at Princeton, Clemson, and West Point.  Coach Kathy Lowe from Middletown HS South will run the Field Hockey Camp.  Proceeds from all camps benefit Lincroft Little League.

 

Dates:

Junior Camp I:  June 29- July 3 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 12:00pm

                        Junior Camp is co-ed, but girls learn softball, boys learn baseball.

Baseball I:  July 6- 10 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 2:30pm

Softball:  July 13- 17 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 2:30pm

Baseball II:  July 20-24 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 2:30pm

Junior Camp II:  July 27-31 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 12:00pm

Field Hockey Camp: July 27-31 (Monday to Friday) 9:00am to 12:00pm

Daily Agenda:

            The morning includes rotating instructional stations covering all fundamental aspects of        the game:  fielding mechanics, throwing mechanics, sliding, base running, and hitting.

            Lunch Break.   Players bring their own lunches.

            Players receive instruction at their primary position.

            There are full games and additional hitting stations in the afternoon.

Ages:

            Junior Camp:  For children entering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.

            Boys, Girls, Field Hockey Camps:  For players entering 5th to 10th grades.

Cost:

            $160 per child for the entire week for Baseball and Softball.

            Junior/Field Hockey Camp is $110 for the week.

            Families with more than one child receive a 10% discount per child

Additional Camp Information:

1.      Camp will be held at the Lincroft Little League Complex.

2.      Bathrooms are open and available during the day.

3.      Make checks payable to Eric McMahon.  Final payment is requested by June 1st.  Late registration will be accepted based on availability.
