Lincoln City Youth League: My Site News
The 2012 Lincoln City Youth League Baseball/Softball Season is HERE!!!
As you know, this program is run entirely by volunteers. If you can help out in anyway, please let us know. We have lots of small tasks that individuals are needed for in order for our program to be successfull and to run smoothly. We are always looking for help in the Snack Shacks, please contact Heidi Kisor directly at 541-921-0315
Each year we strive to improve our program in a variety of ways including but not limited to; coaching, skill clinics, parental involvement, and sportsmanship. The league always encourages good sportsmanship from everyone involved including players, coaches, family and spectators. We have a few basic rules that we will be implementing, such as: no foul language, no negative comments at umpires, coaches, players, no noise makers (we encourage positive comments, cheering and clapping), smoking only in designated areas away from fields and stands, no alcohol, and only coaches, players, and umpires on field during games. When you sign up your child you are agreeing to abide by these very basic common sense rules. You also agree to help encourage family and friends to abide by the rules.
Thank you so much for help in this area. It ensures a more enjoyable season for everyone.
