Lil Saints 16U: Welcome

It's not just a game ..... It's a tradition!

The Lil Saints Softball Program has always stood for developing the softball skills necessary for young women to compete at the highest and distinguished level of softball competition.  Players who continue to work hard developing their skills and putting in hours of dedication often feel exceptionally fulfilled at the end of the season.  Both individually and as a team, the L'il Saints continue to strive for excellence. In our program, we attempt to make each player conscientious of how meaningful her specific role is to the total team effort.  Fundamental performance is like the key to a "winning season."  Each player is taught how to deal with both success and failure and then how to reach short and long range goals achievement with maximum success.

In the Lil Saints Softball Organization, we teach at an accelerated level so that our young women will be prepared to play at a high school or college level.  We are always looking for new information on coaching techniques and we add qualified coaches to our staff each year. With the escalating cost of a college education, our monies spent now will pay off in the future for our L'il Saints players.

Tournament play is essential in our organization.  Your coaching staff works hard in scheduling a series of highly competitive tournaments throughout the year.

Our primary goal is "devotion to our team and our players!"  Whether a player is with us one season or many, it is our hope that she will experience a good feeling and have a continuing love for the sport of softball.

We will be traveling to Colorado, Las Vegas and California for recruiting tournaments. Head Coach Tim Boling has more than 20 years experience coaching youth sports including fastpitch softball, baseball, basketball, and football.  The past 10 years have been focused on fastpitch softball coaching kids from 9 - 18 years old.  As a coach, Tim has taken 3 teams to the ASA Nationals, 1 Western Nationals, and 3 TCS Championships.

Tim's breadth of coaching experience provides a foundation for understanding several coaching concepts from differenct perspectives while adding a complete knowledge of the game.  His experience plays a critical role to get players to work hard to reach new limits within their own game.
