The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Football Organization was chartered in 1971 and has proudly become one of the top organizations promoting youth football in the Beaver County, Western Pennsylvania area. Our purpose is to inspire character in each player such as teamwork, respect for parents, teachers, and coaches, and the highest ideals of good sportsmanship and fair play.
Also, to foster and promote the game of football and teach players fundamentals such as blocking, tackling, running, kicking, passing, and the importance of maintaining physical, mental, and moral fitness.
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs compete each year in the Beaver County Youth Football League. We annually field 4 teams.
Midgets 12-13 yrs old 145lb max. weight
Mitey Mites 10-11 yrs old 125lb max. weight
Termites 8-9 yrs old 100lb max. weight
Twerps 5-7 yrs old 85lb max. weight

REGISTRATION DATES HAVE PASSED
If you missed it, the Freedom Lil' Bulldogs held registration days in June.
But, there is still time to sign up for the 2009 season. We meet every Thursday at our clubhouse on 751 Third Ave., Freedom at 8:30pm. Stop by before these meetings if you are still interested in signing up. Or you can call Joe Leahsa at (724) 417-1596 if you have any questions.
A reminder to those players who have not picked up their fundraising tickets -- you cannot receive equipment on equipment hand out day if these tickets are not sold & turned in.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR THE UPCOMING 2009 SEASON
The 2009 Season schedule of opponents has been set.
Aug 15 - vs Rochester (exhibition)

EQUIPMENT HANDOUT
Equipment handout will be on Saturday, July 18th at our clubhouse located at 751 Third Avenue, Freedom.
Times:
Twerps 9:00am
Midgets 10:30am
Mitey Mites 12:00pm
Termites 1:30pm
It is important that every player and at least one parent or guardian attend due to a parents meeting that will be held for every team & an equipment release form that needs to be signed by one parent or guardian.
Also, all fund-raiser ticket money MUST be turned in before any player receives equipment. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
All players will receive notification in the mail of equipment handout in early July.
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs will hold a week of conditioning and practice without pads for every player from Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st.
The first day of practice with pads for all teams will be Monday, August 3rd at 6:00pm located at Big Knob Elementary School.
NEW MEMBERS WANTED
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Booster Club is always in search of new members. If you are committed to promoting youth football in our area, please join us. We meet weekly, 8:30pm Thursdays, at our clubhouse located at 751 Third Avenue, Freedom.
