There are some useful things here, though. Game directions, and physical info, and the all new Player Parent Handbook. I highly recommend downloading it. It will give you a good idea of what to expect.

Players/Parents/Guardians

Thursday, September 29^th, during our home game with South Side, we will be recognizing our seniors at halftime. It will not be a big production, but I would love to have the parents of each senior present. The game is at 6pm, so it will be around 6:45 when we do this. I hope for good weather.

We will also need the order forms turned in on the 29^th, for the Spirit Wear. They were passed out a couple weeks ago to the team. If you need more, you can contact me, and I will get them to you.

Then, Sunday, we head to Martin for our game with McKenzie at Sky Hawk field. I understand that this is far from the norm, but it is such a great opportunity for the girls, I hate to let it slip. Most college games are played early in the day on week days, and on Saturday or Sunday. It was hard to find a home game for them to fit our schedule. If for some reason, you feel that you can’t make this game, it is fine. This is a non district game. I sent home the details, but here they are again if you didn’t receive them.

UT Martin plays at 1pm. We will play at 3:30. It will be considered a home game for us, so we will wear white. Those interested in watching the UTM game, we will be leaving around 11:30 and heading to Martin. We will be car pooling, so everyone needs to talk to each other and secure rides.

In conclusion, our regular season is closing upon us. We have a makeup game with Waverly on October 13^th. I understand that this is during our Fall break, but there is no way around it. If you are here, we will be practicing for tournament play, regardless. Post season play will most likely begin October 17^th. We will not have a District tournament, due to District 16 only having 1 team. So we go right to a Super Region Tournament. This gives us extra time to prepare. The Regional Semi Finals will be played on October 25^th, and the Regional Final will be October 27^th. Where the games will be held, will be determined by October 12^th.  If we advance to the Final, we will move on to Sectionals. They are on Saturday October 29^th at the higher seed’s field. Quarter Finals are November 2^nd, and the State Final will be November 5^th.
