Kim Steinmetz is the Kroger card representative. KROGER CARDS pay big rewards and are a major fundraiser for Boys Soccer. You put money on the card at the service desk, and then use it to pay at checkout (you can also put up to $100 on the card at the register, but to use if for that transaction the money must be put on BEFORE you start scanning your items). Money can be put on the card by credit card, cash, or check. Use your Kroger Rewards MasterCard if you have one - you get 2 points/dollar (in-store rate), you get the 15 cent discount on gas for every $100, and we get $4 per $100 - everybody wins!
YOU CAN ONLY GET A CARD FROM Kim Steinmetz, you cannot "purchase" one from the Service Desk.
Kroger cards can be used to buy gas and prescriptions, a big plus these days. If you're currently scanning your Kroger key chain card, get a gift card as well to pay.
Occasionally these cards get demagnetized. If that happens, ask the clerk to manually enter your number, to determine the remaining balance. Use it up and then get a new card from Kim Steinmetz. Cards with zero balances for 90 days are inactivated - get a new card from Kim Steinmetz.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED A CARD. Make sure everyone in your family that shops at Kroger has a card.
PLEASE USE YOUR KROGER CARDS FOR GASOLINE!!!
The Kroger on Nicholasville Rd across from Zandale Shopping Center has gas pumps. Kroger gas is as cheap as Speedway, and we get 4% of what you spend. Put money on your card when you shop. If everyone bought Kroger gas with their LHS Kroger gift card we'd make enough money to quit BINGO. Get your son a Kroger card so he can buy gas there too (even if you have to put the money on the card).
WANT TO SAVE MORE MONEY? Get a Kroger Rewards MasterCard. Put money on your LHS gift card using your Kroger MasterCard. For every $100 you charge you get a 15-cent-a-gallon discount on one fill-up, and we get $4. PLUS, YOU GET A 2% CREDIT for spending $100 at Kroger; the $2 credit ("Reward") is returned to you to spend in Kroger when you spend $1000 total. If your son eats like mine, that only takes a couple of weeks!
DON'T HAVE A KROGER CARD? See me, email me, or call me (533-5588) and I'll getcha one!
