Welcome to the LBSA! We are the Lexington Baseball and Softball Association, located in Lexington, Ohio. THIS PAGE IS YOUR SOURCE FOR MOST REGISTRATION QUESTIONS, PLEASE READ HERE BEFORE EMALING THE LBSA AS WE HAVE A DIFFICULT GETTING BACL TO EVERYONE INDIVIDUALLY FOR MORE OF THE COMMON QUESTIONS

 

  • THE DATES AND TIMES OF GAMES ARE NOT YET DETERMINED. WE WILL TRY TO SCHEDULE SIMILAR TO LAST YEAR AND AND NOT HAVE MANY DIVISIONS OVERLAPPING WITH ONE ANOTHER
  • GAME SCHEDULES WILL NOT BE DETERMINED OR RELEASED UNTIL MID APRIL, PRACTICE SCHEDULES WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL THE END OF MARCH
  • PRACTICES WILL BEGIN FOR MANY TEAMS APRIL 1ST 
  • REGULAR SEASON BEGINS MAY 1ST AND WILL RUN THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF JULY

 

 

 

 

 

  • THE MAJOR LEAGUE BOYS DIVISION, BOTH 9-10 & 11-12, WILL BE DETERMINED BY A DRAFT AS IT WAS LAST YEAR. SOME TEAMS WILL KEEP A BASIC CORE AND ADD ON FROM THE DRAFT. EACH PLAYER WILL BE RANKED AND ENTER INTO THE DRAFT WHICH WILL THEN BE COMPLETED BY THE COACHES
  
  • BABE RUTH DIVISION WILL BE FORMED BY ASSESSMENTS, RANKINGS THEN PLACEMENT. NOT EVERY PLAYER IS GUARANTEED A POSITION AND CUTS WILL BE MADE IF NECESSARY. IF A PLAYER IS CUT, THE REGISTRATION COST WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL.
