We are ironing out the game and picture schedules for Jamboree (March 23rd) currently. Pictures will be held at the Intermedaite school gym the morning of Jamboree. We are trying to make sure all teams get to take pictures before playing their game.
The ceremony begins at 10:15, teams should line up at the Minor BB field (behind the Snack Shack) at 10am.

When Playing other leagues, the LRLL Home Team decides if the field is playable and is responsible for notifying both teams. The rule of thumb is, if you walk to and from the pitching rubber and you can see your foot prints then it's too wet to play. Please error on the side of caution when it comes to playing on wet fields. Wet fields present a safety hazard to our kids and playing on them can create considerable damage to the playing surface.
Drying Dirt is now available in the chalk sheds (Turface). If it takes more than a bag to dry out your field and it's still raining or will rain, then it's likely too wet to play. We have a limited amount of Drying Dirt, so please follow this guideline.

EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM RETURN
AS THE SEASON ENDS ITS TIME TO COLLECT OUR EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORMS FOR USE NEXT YEAR
These need to be returned even if you plan to Manage at this level again next year.
UNIFORMS RETURNED TO MANAGERS:
KIDS KEEP: HATS and SOCKS (Except T-Ball keeps their shirts too)
KIDS RETURN: Uniform Shirts and Pants (reusable pants only)
Coaches: Collect all the uniforms, put ‘em back in the tub & bring them in with your equip.
Exception: Tee ball keeps their entire uniform!!!
EQUIPMENT RETURN:
All Equipment needs to be returned after your last game.

As we wrap up the 2013 season we are looking ahead to the 2014 season. We have a few open Board positions that we need help filling! Email us if you're interested or know someone who would be!

As the regular season wraps up All Stars is about the begin! For Minor and above divisions we are coming to your last home game to get your votes for your All Star team.
We cannot announce the teams until June 15th and then the tournaments begin about two weeks after that. We will keep you posted as we get more information.

It's time to get ready for our Firework Stand this year! It's one our biggest fundraisers and even better it's a short fundraiser! Only 7 days! Please take a few minutes to sign up for a shift.
We need 4 adults for every shift! Shifts are:
9am - 1pm
1pm - 5pm
5pm - 9pm
We will also need sign holders (usually kids)!

If you haven't heard about Little League Days at Mariners it's a great time for families and teams. Kids get to walk out on the field, meet players and get great giveaways all for a discounted ticket price.
To attend please fill out the form and turn it in with payment to the Snack Shack - there will be a specific box to place it in. One check has to come from Little League. In time to get everything organized and turned in on time please follow the deadlines below (no exceptions).
May 12th game - turn in the form and payment by (to the Snack Shack) APRIL 30
May 26th game - turn in the form and payment by (to the Snack Shack) MAY 11
June 6th game - turn in the form and payment by (to the Snack Shack) MAY 22
June 23rd game - turn in the form and payment by (to the Snack Shack) JUNE 8

We are working on getting a group of Umpires or interested parties together to train to umpire softball and baseball games this season. We are always short and can always use any help! We will be training throughout the month of March and holding a training session during Jamboree.

The team pictures are back however we won't be handing them out to teams until ALL the fundraiser money has been turned into the League for your team.
PLEASE sell all your Papa Murphy cards. Instead of paying more for registration we offer the fundraiser in it's place. Thank you for your understanding.

If you were at the fields last Saturday you may have noticed that the Snack Shack wasn't open. This was due to lack of volunteers. Unfortunately our League makes a lot of money by running the Snack Shack. If we don't have enough volunteers to open and run it we lose out on a lot of money, money that goes directly to fields, stands, equipment, uniforms and much more.
There will be a board outside the Snack Shack showing open time slots that need to be filled, please stop by and sign up. If need be we will start assigning teams to days.
