14 October 2009 Just letting y'all know about the upcoming Lewes Little League benefit night at Poker at the Beach, located next to Candy Kitchen in the Giant shopping center. In November, our date as been changed so that we benefit on Monday Nov 16th. Let your friends know. Just a note that the links on the left side do NOT work. It's easier to do it all with links and files in this main message. All-Star State Tournament Brackets Major Softball - Updated 7/26 District III are the Champions. Junior Baseball - Updated 7/28 District I are the Champions. All-Star District III Tournament Brackets SOFTBALL 9/10 Laurel took the championship. Lewes 9/10 Girls All-stars came in 3rd for the 2nd year in a row. Major Laurel took the championship. Junior Woodbridge took the championship. Senior - Revised 7/22 Laurel took the championship. BASEBALL 9/10 A thrilling game saw Lewes edge Nanticoke 3-2 for the Championship. Major A thrilling game saw Nanticoke edge Rehoboth 5-4 for the Championship. Junior - Revised 7/18 Nanticoke took the championship. Senior Nanticoke took the championship. Orton Field which is the field to the left as you enter the field Games listed on this schedule in Dark Blue are Girls Majors, in Orange are Boys Minors, in Black are Girls Minors, and in Green are Boys Machine Pitch. Practice Field Locations Practice Field Schedules - revised 4/22/09 Weather Call the information "Hotline", 441-5144 for a recorded message, for late updates, postponements, and cancellations. Please Note: In general, games will not be postponed before 4 pm on Weekdays or 9 am on Saturdays. In addition, the weather at the Little League Park can be very different from Milton, Rehoboth, or west of Route 1. Outfield sign sponsorships - We have sign space available. The cost is $125 to hang a sign and the commitment is for one year. The sign should be on a 3'6" to 4' x 8' plywood board - please note 4' tall board has to be sunk into the ground a few inches to be below top of fence, but this can be done.
