LRC Runs for Boston

A group of Lehigh Running Club members showed their support for those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings this past week by running the Runners for Boston Fun Run in Bethlehem PA.

"There was a large crowd of sympathetic members of the local running community.  It was very moving the hear words of sorrow and hope from the 1968 Boston marathon winner Amby Burfoot.  He was running this year for the 45th anniversary of his win and was at mile 25.5 when the bombs went off.  The 4 mile run that followed displayed the community's intent to persevere and to continue running and racing."-LRC President Neal Cousino
