Join us for the Grand Opening of our New Youth Baseball and Softball Facility, just off of Hwy 119, behind Memorial Park In Leeds, AL.
Baseball:
Be one of the first teams to play on our new fields! Leeds Youth Sports is proud to be hosting a preseason Grand Slam Tournament.
- March 8-11 -Ages 5-12 are welcome.
- Bracket Play, 2 game elimination.
- Dizzy Dean Rules.
- No entry fee.
- Gate fee of $5.00 per person 4 and under free.
Softball:
Leeds Youth Sports is also hosting a preseason Youth Softball Tournament. More Updates to come...
- March 15th, 16th, and 17th
- 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U age divisions
- USSSA All-Star Rules
- Bracket Play, Double Elimination
SPRING 2012 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Any Baseball and Softball clinic by Tryouts. Check calendar for schedules.
- Price for Baseball/Softball: $125 (Second child only $100)
- Cap Ball: $65
- Don’t worry if you are playing basketball – We understand and support it! Baseball team practices will not start till March!
BASEBALL
Due to numerous emails and conversations with Dizzy Dean, the State President for Dizzy Dean, and our District President, a bat manufactured previous to June of 2011 that has 1.15 BPF TYPED CLEARLY anywhere on the bat will be ACCEPTABLE. The Bat cannot say Coach Pitch, Tee-Ball, CP or anything of that nature on the bat. All bats that are manufactured after June 2011 will have the USSSA 1.15 BPF from that day forward to CLEARLY indicate that it is ACCEPTABLE. This is for Baseball ONLY!
We are sorry for the confusion, however, we have clarified with all required parties in agreement.

- Boys 7 & 8 Field 2 6:00 to 7:30
Tuesday Night:
- Boys 11 & 12 Field 4 6:00 to 7:30
Thursday Schedule:
- February 2nd Boys 5 & 6 Field 1 from 6:00 to 7:30.
- Boys 9 & 10 Field 2 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Friday Night:
- Boys 5 & 6 Field 1 6:00 to 7:30
