Team News
Major-Minor baseball, Minor baseball and softball, and T-ball coaches are being sought. We are creating the teams at this time for these areas and a few more coaches are necessary.
If you will be attending your childs games, why not help out with coaching if you will be there anyway? Any help in this area is appreciated.
Our staff is comprised off ALL VOLUNTEERS. Please do not call and tell us your child is disappointed they have not called with their team name..... WE KNOW ! We have kids too! Spring fever is at a roaring pitch.
Please be patient. We are working as quickly as we can every night. The field have just melted the final snow away as of Wednesday. They are soft and not playable yet, but now the work them must begin to get them ready.
Because of this, if you are a handy person or good at yard work, please email us tell us when you are available to pitch in so we can finish quicker.
Thanks.

Game Reverts
A game between STS and DLT last week ended due to darkness. One team had come from behind in the 6th inning to catch up and pass the other, but darkness ensued, and the game was called when the umpire correctly judged it was becoming a safety issue.
Little League rules state that if you have a complete game (4 innings or more played) and the game is halted for any reason, weather, darkness, etc, and the inning is incomplete, then the score reverts back to the last completed inning.
The only scenario where this becomes a suspended game is if they end up with a tied score, then the game must be resumed and finished to establish a victor.

Dress Warm!
Parents! Even though we have sunny skies, the winds are creating quite a wind chill, and it will get worse in the evening as the sun dips below the trees.
Please make sure your child dresses warmly for their game. They must wear their jersey on the top, so dress them in a sweatshirt underneath. Please be sure to remember this important rule: if the child will be pitching in either baseball or softball, they can not have white or light grey sleeves showing. This applies to Pitchers ONLY .
Please bring the extra warmth garments. It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and end up sick.
