After all the bumps and bruises, we are off to a very good opening weekend!  Our #1 goal is to provide a great experience in basketball.  Your communication is vital to our success.  We will do everything we can to insure that goal is met.

During the winter break we will be rescheduling the 6th grade girls and 4th grade boys to align teams in a way to have more consistent play in games.  We feel this will help the overall experience.

SCORE REPORTING - All winning coaches should enter game scores on the Exposure website per instructions in my email on 11/27/2016.  We will use the exposure basketball website for the remainder of the season.

If you have any issues please call (440-387-6439) or email (macbballua@gmail.com) me immediately.

Thanks for your support,
Mac

The Lake Erie Basketball League is a developmental travel basketball league for community-based teams of third (boys), fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys and girls. For the 2015-2016 season, there are 103 teams in the various divisions, representing the suburbs of Cleveland. Each team plays 12 regular season games, and there is a post-season league tournament. The LEBL was founded in 1997 by Gretchen Jones to give younger players an opportunity to play competitive basketball against talented players from other communities in a league setting. The League emphasizes individual and team fundamentals. To encourage the development of ball handling and court skills, zone defenses are not allowed at the third thru fifth grade levels. Poor sportsmanship by players, coaches, or spectators is never tolerated
