 REVISED 4-3-2015 7:30am

Thank you for making our Spring 2014 season a great success!

Also Dixie Youth has provided over 2 million dollars in college scholarships. Any former players for Dixie Youth are eligible for the scholarship.
See www.dixie.org for details.

We would like to thank the City of Lexington for spending $8000.00 and $7000.00 on two of the fields at Guy B. Amis park.

LDYB made improvements to our field with no cost to the city of Lexington.

WHAT IS DIXIE YOUTH O-ZONE?

Dixie Youth created O-Zone for the kid pitch players to play on a larger infield. The bases are 70 feet apart (8u plays on 60 feet / babe ruth-high school are 90 feet) . The pitching rubber is 50 feet from the back of the home plate (10u pitches from 46 feet / babe ruth-high school are 60 feet).

O-Zone is offered thru Dixie Youth to allow baseball players to lead off the bases for stealing and the pitchers can try to pick off the runners. This will better prepare the players that want to continue to play in our 13 and above leagues, middle school, and future high school programs. Check out the rules for O-Zone league on Dixie Youth Website www.dixie.org
