Game Action LL Baseball Week Ending 5/16

     Apex started the last week off with a win over Gallaghers 11-3 on Monday 5/11. On Tuesday Kiwanis beat Rotary 12-10 for thier first win of the year behind Sean Steger's 3 run Homer. Firemen then defeated Optimist 14-11 on Wednesday night and Apex remained undefeated on Thursday with a 8-3 win over Gallagher's.

     All six teams where again in action on Saturday. In the first game Kiwanis continued its winning ways with a 5-3 win over prevous unbeaten Apex. It was Apex's first loss of the year. A.J. Pastor hit a 2 run Homer and was the winning pitche with 6 strikeouts in the win for Kiwanis. In the second game Jesse Shaw hit 2 Home Runs for Gallagher's, but it was not enough as Firemen out scored Gallagher's 12-10 for the win. In the night cap Optimist defeated Rotary 7-6.
