Congratulations Sudak

 2009 Dellas Cup

Little League Champions.

Wednesday Night (7/8) Sudak defeated N.I.A. in the third and deciding game. Game details when recieved.

Wednesday Night (6/24) Championship Series:

Sudak defeated NIA 4 - 3 in the first game of the championship series.  NIA went ahead 3 - 2 in the 4th inning.  But, Sudak came back to go ahead 4 - 3 in the bottom half of the inning, which included hits by Marissa Mulville and Amanda Moustafa.  Carissa Scott shut NIA down in the last two innings to record the win for Sudak.  In the game for NIA, Ariel Magee was 3 for 3 including two doubles.

NIA defeated Sudak 5 - 4 in the second game of the series.  Sudak led 3 - 0 when NIA scored four runs on four hits in the 4th inning to go up by one.  Sudak tied the in the 5th inning when Carissa Scott doubled to send Liz Pepper home with the tying run.  NIA won the game in the bottom of the 6th inning when Ariel Magee walked with the bases loaded to send Alexis Donnelly home with the winning run.  Ariel Magee was the winning pitcher and also had two hits. For Sudak, Lindsey Diebel and Jackie Schmucker each had two hits.

Wednesday (6/17): Sudak 6 - Dellas 0.

 Tuesday night (6/16):   Dellas defeated Swain's in a First round of playoffs, 19 - 13.  Dellas advances and will play against Sudak on Thursday.

Monday night (6/15):   NIA defeated Washington Inn, 11 - 7, in the Semi Finals of the playoffs.  Ariel Magee was the winning pitcher.  Alexandrea Johnson had three hits for NIA.  Also for NIA, rightfielder Alexis Donnelly threw out a runner trying to stretch a single into a double.  And she had a key hit to knock in a run.  Carrie Wunder had two hits for Washington Inn.

They defeated Gallagher's Heating sweeping a double header on Wednesday to repeat as Champions.

Little League Baseball: Cape MayKiwanis 8 - Gallagher's Heating 7. Anthony Melendez singled home the Devon Richardson for the winning run. Joe Landis and Sean Steger Combined for the win.

Little League Baseball: Apex 12 - Kiwanis 8. A.J. Pastore hit a 3 run Home Run for Kiwanis.

Little League Baseball: Gallagher's 11 - Cape May Rotary 8. Zach Hagen hit a Home Run for Gallagher's.

Junior League Baseball: Lower Cape May 17 - JMK 16 

                                   JMK 8 - Lower Cape May 0

Junior League Softball: J.Byrne Agency 15 - Evoy 5

 Saturday (6/6)

Junior League Baseball: JMK 2 - Garden State 0.

 

Thursday (6/4)

NIA defeated Dellas, 21 - 4.  Ariel Magee was the winning pitcher for NIA and also collected two hits.  Devon Small was 2 for 2 for Dellas.

Junior League Softball: Lower Twp Optimist 17 - LCM Evoy 16 

Little League Baseball: Firemen 9 - Apex 4

Wednesday (6/3)

 Little League Softball: NIA handed Sudak its first lost of the year 10 - 8.  Ariel Magee was the winning pitcher.  She also hit a home run.  Carissa Scott went 3 for 3 for Sudak, including a home run.

Little League Baseball: Kiwanis 2 - Cape May Rotary 0.

Little League Baseball: Optimist defeated Gallagher's Heatinig 9 to 4.  Zach Hagen of Gallaghers hit a solo home run.  The game was cut short due to Thunder and lighting ending after 4 complete innings.

Tuesday (6/2) 

Junior League Baseball: Garden State 10 - JMK 0. Josh Pennington pitched a complete game shut out in the win for Garden State.

Monday (6/1)

 Little League Baseball: Firemen 3 - Cape May Rotary 0.

Little League Softball: Apex 18 - Lower Twp. Optimist 6.

Junior League Softball: LCM Lower Twp. Optimist 15 - LCM Evoy 14. Evoy scored 7 unanswered runs in the Top of the 7th to take the lead, but it was not enough as Optimist scored on a sac fly to win the game in the bottom of the inning.
