Coach Hill begins his 3rd year of coaching baseball at La Canyon High School. Coach Hill is a 1997 graduate of LCC and he was the starting short stop on Coach Machado's very first Maverick team which played for the CIF Division I Championship at Qualcom Stadium. The 1997 team helped build the entire baseball field that year. It enstilled a greater respect for the game of baseball in the players as they executed the building process. That first year set the precendent for La Costa Canyon baseball and was the start to a very successful baseball program.
After high school Coach Hill attended Pt. Loma Nazarene University where he continued his baseball career. Coach Hill transferred to San Diego State where he earned his BA in Communication with an emphasis in Marketing.
