Bearcats Squeak Past Blues
The Bearcats started off league play with a big win against Cathedral-Chatard. Although officially this was a 1 point game the Bearcats dominated the play. In a game where penalties went against the Bearcats it was good to have Eichholtz back on the ice killing penalties.The only score of the game came early in the first on a Cole Kimmel goal assisted by Campbell and Willoughby. The Bearcats found the net on two additional occasions only to have the goals called back for the Blues net off.
Although shots appeared about even the Bearcats played good "D" and forced the Blues to outside shooting. Taz's longtime Racer teammate did a fine job in net for CCHC stopping some quality Bearcat shots. The Bearcats dominated the penalty box in this emotional game.
