Weather and Game Cancellations

One of the advantages of High School Hockey is that most of our games are with local teams which means teams generally won't have to travel long distances for games in bad weather.

Unless the Mayor or another Government official declares a state of emergency or the ice rink where we are to play is closed due to poor weather plan that we will play. In the event that we feel it necessary to cancel a game or practice due to weather we will post it here, send an e-mail and send a text message to your cell phones.

When driving conditions are poor we recommend that you drive or ride with your player to games or practice for their safety. Of course the ultimate decision on the danger of the travel rests with the parents, if you absolutely feel it is unsafe for you or your player to drive to a game or practice please contact Tom Berish via cell phone so that we can plan accordingly.
