Coach Hebert and Darlings Bearcats are off on a great start for the 09-10 season. We are getting the great play we expected from our upperclassmen and the underclass players have been a pleasent surprise.
The Lawrence Hockey Team features players from:

The Bearcats knocked off South Bend Riley, tied Brebeuf, then beat HSE B to advance to the championship game of the Scotton Memorial tournament. In the finals it was all Bearcats over the Park Tudor Panthers with a final score of 2-7.
Steve Scotton was a senior and captain of an HSE squad when he died of sudden cardiac arrest 4 years ago during the Hoosier League Tournament. Proceeds from the annual tournament benefit the Steve Scotton memorial scholarship fund which is awarded annually to an HSE player.
Sunday, November 29
Brought together in friendship via Lawrence Hockey friends Tyler Hebert and Jackson Eichholtz will face off against each other when Tyler's Perry Mite team visits Jackson's Pepsi team Saturday December 5th at 10:15.
Adding interest to this game is a coaching battle with Coach Terry Hebert coaching the Perry Squad and Junior Defenseman Luke Eichholtz on the bench for the Pepsi Mites. With a confident smile Coach Hebert quips, "I haven't taught Luke everything, we have a few surprises" to which Luke replies, "the old man's got nothing".
Tyler will be in net for Perry to which Jackson says "he's going down and when he does I am going top shelf". According to Tyler "Jack forgets I'm half Canadian, the only thing going down is that hoser".
One thing is certain, however this one ends both teams will enjoy a snack and drink.

Custom Bearcat Spirit wear is now available for you to customize and purchase. You can follow the link above or follow the link from "team store" to get to the spirit wear site. Our logos have been digitized and uploaded.
If you link from the "team store" just click an item to get to the store. Once you are in the store you have hundreds of choices of items, colors, sizes, and prints. Don't be afraid to experiment. You can customize items with your players name and number, change the color of the item, change the color of the prints, and select the artwork of your choice.
By selecting the "Advanced Designs Settings" bar at the bottom of the order block you can change the color of the prints. After a change wait, it takes a few seconds. Here is a design tip, if you select a dark colored shirt, in the "Advanced Designs Settings" try selecting "white" as a primary color. Set the secondary color to a contrasting color.
