TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
LMHA's Technical Director Chairperson is Peter De Block. Peter will be registering all LMHA participants (coaches, trainers, and players) in the clinics conducted by the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council for the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario. In any contact sport, some injuries are inevitable. Hockey is no exception, and with the speed of the game, presence of skate blades, sticks and boards, the potential for injury always exists. Many of the common injuries can be avoided with proper preparation and good protection.

Perhaps one of the most vital contributions the coach, trainer, parent, and the player can make to the enjoyment and future potential of the game, is to prevent injuries. Equally important is the ability to recognize injuries that can have serious complications both at the time of injury and in future years of play.

Please note the cut off date for the clinics. All clinics fill up before the cut off date, so register early for your spot.

Note: The Trainers clinic do NOT incorporate a Speak Out componet as part of the clinic. You NEED to take the Speak Out clinic separately.
If you trainers number begins with 08 you can take the Re-Cert course to update you certification. If your number is 07,06, 05 etc and older you must re-take the entire trainers clinic.

If you do not attend this clinic once confirmed, of do not give a Minimum of 2 weeks notice for not attending, or cancel with less than 2 weeks without proof of just cause, you will not be subsidized again for any Hamilton Minor Hockey Council clinics.
