La Vernia Little League: 2012 Spring Season Divisions
Boys and Girls league age 4, 5 and 6.
Machine Pitch
7- 8 Year olds. 6 Year olds may play MP if they have completed a season of T – Ball.
Pee Wee Division
8-10 yr old boys. This division is for children that have played machine pitch, and need another instructional year of play.
Minor League Baseball
Players 8-11 generally play in this league. 8 year olds may move up from machine pitch, if they attend tryouts and are drafted. 11 year olds not drafted to a Major League team will play in the Minors.
Major League Baseball
Players ages 11 and 12. 11 and 12 year old boys will be drafted to a Major team after attending tryouts. It is possible for a team to have 10-year old players, but limited.
Junior Baseball
Players ages 13 and 14.
Senior Baseball
Players ages 15 and 16.
CP Softball
Girls 7 and 8.
Minor League Softball
Girls ages 8 - 10.
Major League Softball
Girls ages 11 and 12. Some 10 year olds could be used to fill a team.
Junior Softball
Girls ages 13 and 14.
Senior Softball
Girls age 15 and 16
Big League Baseball
Players ages 17 and 18.
