Laurel Little League: 2012 Spring Season Divisions
Clinic league typically 5-6 yr olds with beginning or no experience in baseball fundamentals. Generally, includes a 12-14 game scrimmage schedule on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. No standings are kept. Practices are generally twice per week as are games.

Minor League Baseball - A Division - Coach Pitch
Typically 7-8 year olds. 6 year olds that have played one year of T-Ball may be eligible to play in this division. Coach Pitch is on a Monday, Wednesday, Saturday schedule, with occasional Fridays. Two practices per week with two games per week once the season starts. A 12-14 game schedule is typical and ends by mid June.

Minor League Baseball - AA Division - Modified Kid Pitch
Typically 7-9 year olds, with a few less skilled older individuals on occasion. Clinic league with player pitch and standings are kept. Emphasis here is to familiarize the players with rules of the game as well as to develop new pitchers and fine tune baseball skills. Plays primarily on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule. Two practices per week can be expected with two games per week once the season starts. Season will generally end by mid June. All star tournament play as well as local post season play is possible.
Minor League Baseball - AAA Division - Kid Pitch
Typically 9-11 year olds, with a few less skilled older individuals on occasion. Clinic league with player pitch and standings are kept. Emphasis here is to familiarize the players with rules of the game as well as to develop new pitchers and fine tune baseball skills. Plays primarily on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule. Emphasis here is to familiarize the players with rules of the game as well as to develop new pitchers and fine tune baseball skills. Plays a Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday based schedule with occasional Fridays and Sundays. Two practices per week can be expected with two games per week once the season starts. On occasion, Double-headers are authorized to get in makeup games. Season will generally end by mid June. All star tournament play as well as local post season play is possible.
