Aloha & welcome to LAULE'A Volleyball!

We are an all GIRLS volleyball club and are very excited about the coming club season.

Our name...the literal English translation of our name, "LAULE'A" is "gathering in friendship" or "to preserve friendship and goodwill".

Our mission...to promote friendship and goodwill through volleyball in a competitive, safe, and fun environment.

Our Philosophy...to provide a program committed to building positive character and fundamental skills for all our athletes through the sport of volleyball. Through commitment, proper planning, training, and hard work, we strive to help our athletes to:

• Develop a spirit of good sportsmanship, friendship, and goodwill through a safe competitive setting,
• Enhance self-image and self esteem,
• Build self confidence,
• Embrace responsibility with compassion & respect, 
• Develop their mental and physical potential to the fullest, and
• Promote having good FUN!

Hi Everyone,

Due to it being a short week we have decided to have mass practices for the 15, 16, and 17 age groups for the following days:

• Monday, 11/21/11 Kaimuki District Park 6-830p
• Tuesday, 11/22/11 Coast Guard Gym 6-830p
• Wednesday, 11/23/11 Salt Lake District Park 545-845p
• There will be no practice on Friday, 11/25/11.

If you haven't paid your 1st installment for your registration dues and/or haven't turned in the rest of your paperwork it will be due on Monday, 11/21/11. If you should have any questions please let us know.

Hi 14u Parents,

We would like to Thank You all for continuing to stay with us and participate in our practices, but due to the lack of numbers, we will not be able to have a 14U team this year.

Thank you to the parents that went out and tried to find girls to make a team. We also asked around for players, but had no luck. So instead of holding on in hopes that we might be able to find more girls we would like to give you all more time to be able to find another club for your daughter to play with.

We enjoyed working with each and every one of you and hope to see you in the near future. If you should have any questions please feel free to email or call us. Again we thank you for your participation and wish you all the best of luck.

WHAT TO BRING? - Completed Registration Forms (click on link below to download, print, and complete 2011-2012 Registration Forms. Forms will be available at the meeting if you cannot print your own)

The Registration/Sign-up meeting is for all who are interested in becoming part of the LAULE`A VOLLEYBALL Ohana. We are a competitive Club. We do NOT hold tryouts...all you require are:

• for the player:
  • love for the game
  • desire to learn & be coached
  • willingness to work hard and practice
  • be a team player
  • be a good sportsman
• for the parent(s)/guardian:
  • support your child(ren)
  • support Laule`a Volleyball
  • timely payment of Club Dues ($700: $350 due by 11/15, balance of $350 due by 11/30)
  • be willing to help if asked

Hi Everyone!

Just a friendly reminder that this Monday, 10/24/11, will be the last open gym/clinic at Kaimuki District Park from 6-830p. Please come out so your daughter can get back into the swing of things.

Tuesday, November 1st at Salt Lake District Park from 7-830p will be our registration meeting. You can find all our paperwork on our website, www.lauleavolleyball.com, and if you haven't already done so please go ahead and register your daughter with the Aloha Region. You should have been receiving emails from the region stating that your membership is about to expire. Go ahead and follow the links and register.

Fundraisers...

1. We are participating in the Youth Volleyball Block Party again this year. If you are selling any tickets, monies and unsold tickets are due back to us on Monday, 10/24/11. Please let us know if you have any questions.
2. We are also selling Christmas Trees and Poinsettias. Attached (click on "Handout" link below) are the forms to fill out. Please turn in Christmas Tree monies and forms on Wednesday, 10/26/11 and Poinsettia monies and forms on Wednesday, 11/30/11.

My-oh-my-oh-my....another season is just about upon us! Hope everyone is enjoying their break and school season (if you’re playing). We wanted to get this out there, especially to our returnees. We already have the following events scheduled for the upcoming season:

• Open Gym Clinics at Kaimuki District Park gym. Mondays only (October 10, 17 and 24th) from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Please see Registration/sign-up & Waiver form in Hangouts section of our website for more details.
• Fundraisers:
  • 2nd Annual “An Experience of Aloha” Youth Volleyball Block Party at Aloha Tower Market Place. Event is set for Friday, November 4, 2011 from 5:00pm-10:00pm. Go to Handouts on our website under “Fundraisers” to see Flyer for more details on the event. For tickets to sell, email your requests to lauleavolleyball@gmail.com. Tickets are $25 (pre-sold) and $30 at the door. This year, there will be a $2.50 fee for every ticket sold...your net profit on a pre-sold ticket will be $22.50. Due to the limited number of tickets, players may want to pick them up as soon as possible.
  • Christmas Tree Sale. Order forms are now available to order Christmas trees in conjunction with Habilitat. Go to the Handouts section of our website to download the order form which includes more details of this fundraiser. All moneys are due by November 30, 2011.
