There was a good amount of discussion of donations at the parent meeting. One important clarification:
Independent of what you choose to donate to the district, the team needs each family to contribute a minimum of $20 per family to cover the track team portion of the mandatory athletic trainer fees.
If you wish, you can increase this amount and any amount above $20 will go directly to the Las Lomas track team as a team donation for equipment and other team specific needs. To put this into perspective, one set of starting blocks costs about $200.
The trainer and team donation can be written as a single check made out to Las Lomas Track and can be turned into Dax with uniform orders.
